I am really happy with the way the space transformed into a Stationery Girl shop. I have stocked all of the best sellers. Pretty bow pads, memo pads and notes that can be personalized and the ever-fabulous bottle huggers and wine cuffs. I still have a great selection of Imprintable invitations on hand for quick turnaround and I have an endless selection of invitations that I can order for you. New space inside All About the Dress
I am so excited to finally be up and running inside All About the Dress. The address is 220 Main Street in Lemont. My hours are Monday & Tuesday 12 Noon – 3 p.m., Thursday 12 Noon – 8 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Please come by and check out my new space. I am currently working on establishing Stationery Girl inside a bridal boutique in Lemont called All About the Dress. All About the Dress is a fabulous dress shop featuring the most gorgeous bridal gowns along with bridesmaid dresses, mother of the bride dresses, mother of the groom dresses and Homecoming and Prom gowns. The shop also offers many more wonderful things for the bride-to-be and fun stuff for the hip and trendy chick. I am very excited to be back on the retail scene. I miss it. I think All About the Dress is a great fit for Stationery Girl and I look forward to meeting lots of new customers and again seeing the tried and true customers from Paper Creations. On Monday, June 29th Stationery Girl was a part of a Girls Night Out at Ottimo in Orland Park, Illinois. It was a great night and they are going to have more in the future. Besides Stationery Girl, ladies could shop purses, jewelry, hand painted glasses, embellished t-shirts and mini bean bag games. There was a great turnout. Stay tuned for the next date.

I just got back from the National Stationery Show in New York City. It was wonderful. I went with a freind in the stationery business. We had a very fun and productive trip. I found some great new products for my site, stationerygirl.com. I will be spending the next few weeks adding so many fun things to my site. I was invited to a Meet and Greet at the Inviting Co. booth. The guest of honor was the one and only, Mindy Weiss. She is one of the most sought after event planners & lifestyle experts in the United States. Some of her famous clients include Eva Langoria, Ellen Degeneres, Heidi Klum and so many more. She has designed an extensive line of stationery for Inviting Co. and it is amazing. I carry a lot of it on my website. Her focus is wedding stationery and her excellent sense of style really comes through in her designs. I love her Bridal Shower Invitations and her Wedding programs are a new addition to my site. I was very excited to meet her and talk with her for a little bit. She is extremely sweet and beautiful. Keep all of those fabulous designs coming, Mindy!
I just had to include this crazy photo of me with THE NAKED COWBOY of Times Square. For those of you who don’t know who the Naked Cowboy is, he plays the guitar in Times Square wearing only a cowboy hat, cowboy boots and some tighty whities! It was a hoot to see him and to take a picture with him. Only in New York City!
